I wasn't too excited about visiting this place but i do know that it is what many people come to bradford to see and i must admit, once inside it was absolutely brilliant. It also had two art exhibitons within it, but i will talk about those seperately.
It seemed to have a history of everything in regards to media and was there was this one section of the museum that was brilliant for children as it was very interactive. It contained lots of games and activities that required participation but were all linked to media and how film, tv... works. Eg the refraction of light and examples of how earlier television and cinema would have worked. It was highly informative and as you went round it also told you what key stage the activity was relating too. They were predominantly Ks2 in the activity room, but the whole museum was a joy to venture around.
My favourite section was the area about animation where it guided the participant step by step as to how the animation process works and how it as evolved into what it is today. It also featured many animation set ups that were used in commercials, tv programmes and films such as Wallace and Gromit , Andy Pandy, The Wombles and Morph.
