Taiwan

Ok so i have realised i have been here in oz a week now and still i have not written anything about my adventures and the amazing things i have come across, so now i will do so. i also realise that i have not put up all the amazing pictures that i took on a recent outing with the arty fartys so i will have to do that at some point too.

On the journey here we stopped in Taiwan, For a whopping 16 hours. Because of this we grabbed a visa and went on a half day tour of the countries capital, Taipei. It was amazing. It opened up my eyes further to other cultures and our free guide was most helpful and informative. The place in general was absolutely beautiful and everything had a history to compliment it. These are some pictures i took before i started to melt.

It was evident that the art of this nation was influenced by its culture.McFee and Degge (1981) in Koster (2009) conducted a study and found that children of cultures with particular stylistic ways learn to paint and draw in that style.

I think this culture shows through in the art and architecture.
